Rainfall - Tipping Bucket

Parameter to be measured:

Individual assembly of different parameters can be observed in surface water bodies and ground water.

For instance: dissolved O2, electrical conductivity, temperature, turbidity, oxidation/redox potential, chlorophyll

Method:

Equipment:

Advantages:

Robust

Disadvantages:

Maintenance is expansive

What to watch out for:

After programming the measurement time interval the probe has to be additionally activated. Chlorophyll sensor has to be kept wet toprevent the whiper from stick on the sensor after starting the electric engin.

Problems/Questions:

Price:

between 9000 and 10000 EURO (2010, Germany) depending on individual configuration
