Converts the water level (position of the floater) into binary code.
Equipment:
Shaft Encoder with integrated Data Logger for continuous level recording consisting of:
- Shaft Encoder
- Data Logger
- floater
- counterweight
Advantages:
- Direct measurement of the water level (not temperature or pressure dependent)
- relativly cheap
- classical method of water level measurement
- cable free data transfer
- Event and continiuous data recording
Disadvantages:
- fits only in 4' pipes or bigger
