I think for a hydrological climate station the net radiation, the VIS and the IR radiation is important (For calcultaion of the evapotranspiration).

What do you mean if you say radiation? Is it the net radiation or total radiation? And which part of the electromagnetic spectrum? VIS NIR and/or FIR?
